Here's what makes bad addresses expensive: with standard mail, there's no bounce notice. A letter sent to an invalid address doesn't come back with an explanation — it simply vanishes, along with the postage and printing you paid for. And because nothing tells you it failed, the same broken address fails again next mailing, and the one after that.

CASS™ — the USPS® Coding Accuracy Support System — is the Postal Service's answer. It's a certification standard for address validation: software has to prove, to USPS standards, that it can correct and standardize addresses accurately. Our processing is USPS certified, which means every address in your data gets checked against the Postal Service's own delivery records.

What address validation gives you

Every address comes back standardized — proper casing, correct USPS abbreviations, consistent formatting — and validated. ZIP+4 coding is added, which speeds delivery and helps qualify mailings for postage discounts. Delivery Point Validation confirms each address is a real delivery point, not just a real street. We flag addresses that have been vacant for more than 90 days, and we identify records with missing apartment or suite information. Invalid and fake addresses surface too, which makes validation a quiet but effective fraud check.

As with everything we do, the corrections come back to you, documented — so your master data gets better, not just one mailing.
